The Borough Fire Marshal is hereby directed to establish no-parking zones in those areas where parked vehicles may impede the progress, access, ingress and egress of fire trucks, ambulances and other fire protection vehicles from residential or commercial buildings.
The Fire Marshal is further directed to post the aforementioned areas with signs reading "No Parking By Order of the Fire Marshal."
After said areas are posted, the Fire Marshal shall submit to the Borough Council a complete list physically describing all such areas posted, which areas shall immediately thereafter be ordained as no-parking areas.
Thereafter, any vehicle found violating any no-parking zone shall be towed from said area to the parking lot behind the Borough Hall, and the owner of said vehicle shall pay all costs incurred thereby.

In addition, the owner, or operator, if convicted of violating this chapter before a District Justice shall be fined not more than $600, and costs of prosecution, for each offense, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject to imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 30 days.
