The office of Assistant City Clerk be and hereby
is established in accordance with MGL c. 41, § 18.

The Assistant City Clerk shall be annually appointed
in January by the City Clerk and shall hold office at the pleasure
of the City Clerk and shall perform such duties as the City Clerk
shall from time to time require.
The attestation of the Assistant City Clerk
shall have same effect as that of the City Clerk.
