New or replacement water supply systems and sanitary sewage systems
shall be designed to minimize or eliminate infiltration of floodwaters into
the systems and discharges from the systems into floodwaters.
On-site waste disposal systems shall be located so as to avoid impairment
of them or contamination from them during flooding.
Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable,
upon conviction, by a fine as provided in MGL C. 111, § 31.
