For administration of the Building and Planning
Department, the Board, after consultation with the Planning Commission,
shall appoint a Director of Building and Planning, who shall be, in
the opinion of the Board, qualified in the duties of the position.
The Director shall be in charge of the administration of the Department
and shall exercise the powers and duties that are granted or imposed
on the Department by this chapter. The Director shall attend all meetings
of the Board, of appropriate committees of the Board and of the Commission.
