The Board of Supervisors of Pocopson Township hereby adopts the International Existing Building Code, 2009 Edition, as now and hereafter supplemented, reissued, amended and revised as published by the International Code Council, Inc., with Appendices A and B, as adopted by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, 34 Pa. Code § 403.21(a)(10)(c). One copy of the International Existing Building Code, 2009 Edition, is filed at the Township administrative offices and may be examined there without charge and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
The following amendments, additions, deletions and changes are hereby made to the International Existing Building Code, 2009 Edition:
A. 
Section 101.1 is amended by the insertion of "the Township of Pocopson" in the [NAME OF JURISDICTION] blank.
B. 
Section 113.4. "Violation penalties" is amended to read as follows:
"Section 113.4. Violation penalties. Any person who shall violate a provision of the Code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building or structure in violation of an approved plan or directive of the codes enforcement officer, or of a permit or use and occupancy permit issued under the provisions of the Code, shall be guilty of a summary offense, punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 per day, plus costs and attorney's fees, and, upon default of the payment of the fine and cost, imprisonment not exceeding 30 days. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense."
C. 
Section 1301.2 is amended by the insertion of "[March 25, 1991"] in the [DATE TO BE INSERTED BY THE JURISDICTION] blank.
