Swimming pools — See Ch. 210.
All public and semi-public swimming pools, hot
tubs, jacuzzis and whirlpools shall be tested monthly for coliform
bacteria.

All public and semipublic hot tubs, jacuzzis
and whirlpools are required to be tested for pseudomonas at least
once every month.
The operator shall immediately close the pool
if at any time the swimming, wading, or special purpose pool water
does not conform with the bacteriological quality, chemical standards
and water clarity requirements set forth within 105 CMR 435.000, the
State Sanitary Code Chapter V, “Minimum Standards for Swimming
Pools.”
