In addition to other positions provided for by state law and other ordinances and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:60-1 et seq., the Mayor of the Borough of Haddon Heights is hereby authorized and empowered to nominate and, with the advice and consent of the Council, to appoint the following:

Unless otherwise provided by statute, the above officers and employees shall be nominated and appointed at the annual meeting of Council and shall hold office during the pleasure of Council.
The above appointed officers and employees shall, before entering upon their respective duties, take and subscribe the oath of office as required by law.
