Article I Residency Requirements

§ 13-1 Appointed officers. [1]

A. Pursuant to § 3, subdivision 2, of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York, a police officer need not reside in said Village but may reside anywhere in the County of Dutchess, State of New York, or in any County contiguous to the County of Dutchess, State of New York.

B. All other appointed officers need not reside in said Village but may reside anywhere in the County of Dutchess, State of New York.
