A.Â
Upper Pottsgrove Township shall be included in the
Pottsgrove Local Taxing Authority and adopts the following statements
in accordance with the Pottsgrove Taxpayers' Bill of Rights, as follows:

The Pottsgrove Taxpayers' Bill of Rights disclosure statement attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A.[1]

(2)Â
Pottsgrove Local Taxing Authority notification to taxpayers attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit B.
B.Â
The tax collectors of earned income tax, occupational
privilege tax and per capita tax, and the Business Manager of the
Pottsgrove School District are appointed to receive and to make determinations
on petitions from taxpayers relating to assessment, determination
or refund of taxes covered by the disclosure statement. The tax collectors
and the Business Manager shall serve in this capacity as part of their
regular duties and shall receive no additional compensation.
C.Â
The Business Manager of the Pottsgrove School District
is appointed as the Upper Pottsgrove Township representative to receive
and resolve taxpayer complaints.
D.Â
The Business Manager of the Pottsgrove School District
shall take all steps necessary or appropriate to ensure that the Pottsgrove
Local Taxing Authority complies with the requirements of the Local
Taxpayers' Bill of Rights.
E.Â
Upper Pottsgrove Township reserves the right to withdraw
from Pottsgrove Local Taxing Authority by written notice.
