The purpose of this Article is to eliminate the creation of multiple-family dwellings on premises intended as single-family dwellings within the confines of the Township of Middle.
No person or entity shall be permitted to install more than one electrical meter socket in any residential property situate within the confines of the Township of Middle.
The Construction Official, the Electrical Subcode Official and the Zoning Officer may jointly agree to waive the requirements of this Article when they jointly agree that the granting of such a permit shall not impair the purpose of this Article.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall be subject to a penalty up to $1,000 or up to 180 days of community service or up to 90 days in jail, or any combination thereof.
