Parking by motor vehicles or other vehicles will not be permitted in the fire lanes.
Parking in fire lanes will be penalized by fines as established by local traffic control laws, as follows:[1] Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this chapter or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both.
