For the purpose of this chapter, the following
words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to
them by this section:
Council-Manager Plan B of N.J.S.A. 40:69A-81 et seq.,[1] as amended and supplemented, and any and all statutory
provisions of the state as may be lawfully applicable to the Village.

The Village Clerk duly appointed pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-89,
the Charter or any ordinance or resolution; or a deputy or assistant
duly acting in place of the Village Clerk.
The head of a department.
A Manager or Acting Manager duly appointed by the Council
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-89 or the Charter, or a qualified administrative
officer appointed or designated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-94 and
performing the duties of the Manager thereunder.

The Village Seal, as adopted and in use upon
the effective date of this chapter, shall continue to be the legal
Seal of the Village.

The regular office hours for the transaction
of municipal business shall be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
