It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon any portion of lawn or other cultivated ground in any public park within the Village when forbidden so to do by an official sign or other official notification.
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw, deposit or leave any paper or waste material whatsoever in or upon any part of the surface of any public park within the Village or in or upon any park property or appurtenance therein except in the receptacles provided in such park for that purpose.
It shall be unlawful for any person to place or erect any booth, stand or other structure or to place any wagon or other vehicle, except such as may be propelled by hand and adapted for the carrying of children, invalids or dolls, on or in any public park of the Village without the written permission of the Shade Tree Commission.
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale within any public park of the Village any goods, wares or merchandise whatsoever or to display or distribute any advertising device, circular or card in any such park.
It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt, molest, injure, capture or in any way interfere with the freedom of any bird being free and undomesticated in any public park in the Village or the freedom of any squirrel, fish or other animal in any such public park.
It shall be unlawful for any person to utter any profane, threatening or abusive language or loud outcry or to perform any obscene or indecent act, to commit any nuisance, to solicit any contribution or subscription or to play any game of chance in any public park within the Village or to bring into such park any instrument of chance or gambling whatsoever.

Subject to the approval of the Council, which said approval may be in the form of subsequent ratification, the Village Manager may adopt and promulgate reasonable rules and regulations, not inconsistent with statute or ordinance, governing the use of Village parks, playgrounds and open spaces and the conduct of persons therein. Such rules and regulations shall become effective after publication in a newspaper circulating in the Village and shall thereafter be posted in a conspicuous place at the park, playground or open space for which effective and maintained in the office of the Village Clerk for public inspection between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. prevailing time. Violation of any such rule or regulation shall be punishable in accordance with Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I, of this Code.
