A. 
All electrical work performed in buildings or structures erected wholly or partly or altered must be done so according to meet local and New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code requirements.
B. 
When a service is found to be inadequate in an already existing structure, the electrical contractor must present calculated load to be served and the service equipment must be installed to meet local and New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code requirements.

Any person or corporation which shall violate any of the provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $500, and by imprisonment.
This article shall be published as required by law and shall take effect immediately upon the final such publication.
