The City Clerk is hereby authorized to delegate to the Humane Society of New Rochelle, Inc., the authority to issue licenses for adopted dogs.

The Humane Society of New Rochelle, Inc., is hereby authorized to hold adoptable dogs for a period not extending one year from the date of expiration of the redemption period provided in § 117 in the Agriculture and Markets Law.

The Humane Society of New Rochelle, Inc., is hereby authorized to establish impoundment fees for dogs seized in accordance with the provisions of the Agriculture and Markets Law so long as such fees do not exceed the fees provided by § 117 of the Agriculture and Markets Law.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward appropriate copies of this article to the Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets of the State of New York.
