It is the purpose of this article to modify the requirements of Chapter 27 of the Code of the Town of Pound Ridge, § 3 of the Public Officers Law and § 23 of the Town Law of the State of New York so as to provide that a person holding the office of Court Clerk, Deputy Court Clerk, Assistant Court Clerk or any position within the Court Clerk's office of the Town of Pound Ridge need not be a resident of the Town or any municipal corporation of the state.
This article shall be known as "A Local Law
to Amend Residency Requirements for a Court Clerk, Deputy Court Clerk,
Assistant Court Clerk or Any Position Within the Court Clerk's Office."
