This article shall be known and may be cited as the "Parking Regulation Law of the Town of Pound Ridge."
It is the intent of this article to regulate the parking of motor vehicles on those highways of the Town where, in the judgment of the Town Board, vehicles cannot be parked without infringing upon the right of the public to use said roads and where said parking may create unsafe traffic conditions.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to comply with any no parking regulation displayed on official traffic signs installed or placed on any highway.
B. 
No person shall allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name to stand or park in any street in the Town of Pound Ridge in violation of this article.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $25 or by imprisonment of not more than five days.
Except in an emergency or at the direction of a peace officer, no motor vehicle shall be parked at any time on the following highways, streets or parts thereof:
A. 
Salem Road from its intersection with Trinity Pass in a southerly direction to its intersection with Westchester Avenue.
B. 
Westchester Avenue from its intersection with Salem and Stone Hill Roads, including the roads on all three sides of the triangle formed by the intersection of Salem Road, Stone Hill Road and Westchester Avenue, in a southerly direction to its intersection with Old Pound Road.
C. 
Pound Ridge Road from its intersection with Westchester Avenue, including the roads on all three sides of the triangle formed by said intersection, in a westerly direction to its intersection with the road now or formerly known as "Zeman Lane" or "Janin Lane."
