Mass transportation services — See Ch. 62.
Sullivan County is desirous of providing better transportation services
to the residents of Sullivan County at reasonable rates. With that in mind,
the Sullivan County Transportation Department has implemented a rural zone
bus service to accomplish that task. It is the intent of the Sullivan County
Legislature to establish a reasonable rate to support this endeavor.
A.
All individuals who board a Sullivan County Transportation
Rural Zone bus shall pay a fee upon entering the bus, regardless of route
or distance, as follows:
(1)
Every person shall pay $1.50 per ride.
B.
The fees established by this chapter may be changed from
time to time by resolution of the Sullivan County Legislature.
If any portion of this chapter is found for any reason to be invalid
by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions.
This chapter shall be effective as of the date of filing in the office
of the Secretary of State.
