Rest room facilities in food establishments
shall meet the requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department
of Health and Agriculture.
All other public rest rooms shall meet the following
requirements:
A.
In all new establishments or establishments where
alterations are made, separate toilet facilities shall be provided
for each sex.
B.
Toilet rooms shall be kept clean and in good repair,
well lighted and properly ventilated by exterior windows or mechanical
means. The walls and ceilings shall be of a smooth washable surface
and shall be finished in a light color.
C.
Hand-washing facilities with automatic hot and cold
water, sanitary towels and soap shall be in or adjacent to the toilet
room. The use of the common towel is prohibited.
