The Township Council may designate certain taxicab stands as provided by law and the number of taxicabs permitted therein. The taxicabs shall operate on a first-in-first-out basis at such taxicab stands. No taxicab shall remain in a taxi stand for more than 30 consecutive minutes.
The Township Council may establish other stands by resolution when in its judgment that course shall be necessary. The continuance of such stand shall thereupon be subject to the approval or disapproval of the Township Council, by resolution.
Any owner of a taxicab license who shall change his place of business after the effective date of this chapter shall provide off-street parking for all of his taxicabs.
