No person shall keep, raise, breed or sell horses or ponies
in the Borough without obtaining a permit for that purpose from the
Borough Clerk.

No such horses and ponies shall be kept less than 30 feet away
from the doors or windows of any building in the Borough occupied
by human beings, whether for dwelling or business purposes.
The written permit therefor shall be issued
by the Borough Clerk of the Borough upon written signed application
therefor and the payment of a fee of $1. Permits issued under this
article shall remain in force for the calendar year for which issued
and must be renewed annually, unless previously revoked by Borough
Council. The Borough Council shall give notice in writing of its intention
to revoke.

A permit to maintain horses or ponies may be revoked by the
Borough Council based upon a signed written complaint and hearing
demonstrating that a building, house or structure used for the keeping
of horses and ponies has become a public nuisance.

No live poultry, fowl, rabbits, hares, sheep,
swine, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, cattle, horses and ponies shall be
permitted to roam at large, and all such beings shall be securely
confined upon the property of the owners thereof.
This article shall not apply to or affect persons,
firms or corporations, which keep live poultry, fowls, rabbits, hares,
sheep, swine, goats, pigs, guinea pigs and cattle in crates or coops,
at wholesale or retail markets, in the business section or district,
for sale for human consumption.

Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall, upon conviction thereof in the Municipal Court
of the Borough of Clementon, be subject to pay a fine not in excess
of $200 or be subject to imprisonment in the County Jail of Camden
County for a period not exceeding 60 days or both. Each day or part
thereof during which such violation shall continue shall constitute
a separate offense.
