No person shall use, occupy, rent, lease, or
otherwise occupy any building or land without first obtaining a Township
certificate of compliance.
A written application shall be filed with the
Code Enforcement office on a form provided by the Township.
An inspection shall be made within seven business
days after completed application and fees are submitted to the Code
Enforcement office.

An inspection of the property or building shall be made to determine compliance with the Code of the Township of Little Falls and the current Property Maintenance Code as established in Chapter
163 of the Code of the Township of Little Falls, as same may be amended from time to time. No certificates of compliance shall be issued unless the property/building complies. A temporary Township certificate of compliance may be issued for up to 30 days when no serious Health, Building or Fire Code violations exist in the building.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
I.
