No connection to the sewer system of the Township shall be made except upon the payment of sewer connection fees to the Township department having jurisdiction over the sewer system and the filing of a sewer use permit with the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners along with the applicable fees for the permit. Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners permits are available from the Township Building Department.

Upon the filing of an application for a connection to the sewer system of the Township, the applicant shall pay a filing fee as set forth in Chapter 71, Fees, for each residential, commercial or industrial use.
In addition to the filing fee, the applicant shall pay to the Township an amount equal to the costs incurred by the Township for the review and processing of the application. This additional fee shall be payable by the applicant prior to the final action of the governing body in granting or denying the sewer connection permit.

The sewer connection fees for residential sewer connections shall be as set forth in Chapter 71, Fees. This fee shall be applicable to newly constructed residential units as well as new residential units created as a result of conversion and reconstruction or rehabilitation of existing structures. The sewer connection fee provided by this section shall be paid prior to the connection into the sewer system of Little Falls and prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy.

A. 
Commercial and industrial sewer uses are defined for the purposes of this section to include, but not be limited to, industries, businesses, commercial establishments, offices, stores, shopping centers, private schools, churches, post offices, hospitals, service stations, theaters, restaurants, luncheonettes, diners, laundromats, and car wash facilities, as well as such other commercial and industrial uses as are permitted by Chapter 280, Zoning, or as permitted by approved variances.
B. 
The applicant shall pay sewer connection and inspection fees as set forth in Chapter 71, Fees.

In the case of a sewer connection for premises which constitute a mixed residential/commercial/industrial use, filing fees and connection fees as set forth in Chapter 71, Fees, shall be paid for the residential units and commercial and industrial structures.
The provisions of this article shall apply to any sewer connection for property located in the Township, as well as for any sewer connections for the property located outside of the Township but for which permission is granted for the disposal of sewerage to be transmitted into the sewer system of the Township.
