The Township Clerk shall preserve all applications
for licenses under this chapter for a period of five years.
A.
All taxicab drivers or owner licensees shall maintain
records of fare from the point of hire to the point of destination,
showing the time, date and the amount of fare. These records shall
be kept for at least 30 days.
B.
All taxicab owner licensees shall keep a record of
the number of trips per day for each taxicab owned by them and licensed
under this chapter. These records shall be kept for a period of 13
months.
All records pertaining to the taxicab business
of taxicab owners licensed under this chapter shall be available for
inspection by the governing body or its duly authorized representative
at all reasonable hours. [1]
