No person shall consume any alcoholic beverage on any private place without permission of the owner or person in lawful possession or joint possession thereof or within or outside any motor vehicle on any public street or public place other than a place licensed to sell alcoholic beverages and dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises in the Township. Nor shall any person have in his possession or in the joint possession with another or others any open container containing alcoholic beverages at, within or outside any motor vehicle or on any public street or public place other than a place licensed to sell alcoholic beverages and dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.[1]
