Section 7-706 of the Village Law of the State of New York is hereby
amended and superseded as the same applies to the Village of East Rockaway,
New York, by providing that the requirement of publishing and posting of a
notice of adoption containing a verbatim copy of a local law relating to zoning
is hereby eliminated and repealed, and, in lieu thereof, it shall be sufficient
to publish and post a notice of adoption of a local law relating to zoning
that contains the title of the local law, a brief descriptive abstract of
the local law and a notice that copies thereof may be obtained at the office
of the Village Clerk upon payment of lawful fees.
