The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIII (§ 275-69), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 275-70), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§ 275-71), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XVI (§ 275-72) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§ 275-73) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVIII (§ 275-74) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets for more than six hours between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight of any day, except as specified in Schedule XIX (§ 275-75), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XX (§ 275-76), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 275-77), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones, and the standing and parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in such locations except for the express purpose of loading and unloading of merchandise, goods and materials, and then only for a period not to exceed 10 minutes.
The locations described in Schedule XXII (§ 275-78), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands, and the standing or parking of vehicles other than taxis is hereby prohibited in such locations. Taxis using such stands shall not be left unattended and shall be subject to all other vehicle and traffic regulations of the village.
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§ 275-79), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops, and the parking or standing of vehicles other than buses is hereby prohibited in such locations.
No person except the driver of a permitted vehicle for a handicapped person shall park or stop any vehicle in any location described in Schedule XXIV (§ 275-80), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
A. 
Wherever a space shall be marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines bounding such space.
B. 
Except where angle parking is authorized, every vehicle stopped, standing or parked upon a highway where there are not adjacent curbs shall be so stopped, standing or parked parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic.
