The speed limit for both directions of traffic along all streets shall be 25 miles per hour; provided, however, that the speed limit for the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule I (§ 260-25), attached hereto and made a part of this chapter, is hereby established as the rate of speed indicated.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 260-26), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
The intersections described in Schedule III (§ 260-27), attached to and make a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.

A. 
Except as hereinafter provided, no commercial vehicle having three or more axles shall be operated on any street in the Town of Dagsboro, provided that this section shall not apply to any commercial vehicle with three or more axles which is:
(1) 
Traveling exclusively upon Routes 20 or 26 within the Town of Dagsboro.
(2) 
Being operated to make a local delivery to or pickup from a place in the Town incapable of being accessed directly from Routes 20 and/or 26. The driver must have available proof of the intended place of delivery or pickup and:
(a) 
If entering the Town limits, shall use the most direct practical route from Routes 20 and/or 26 to and from the place of delivery or pickup; and
(b) 
If originating from within the Town limits, shall use the most direct practical route to and from the place of delivery or pickup within the Town and/or the most direct practical route to Routes 20 and/or 26 if going outside the Town limits.
(3) 
Owned by or leased to the Town or any volunteer fire company or emergency response organization when engaged in official business, including, by way of example, those vehicles of any fire department, any police department or agency, or to any Town or state public works department or agency.
(4) 
Leased to or operated by any public utility company (or its subcontractor) while engaged in public utility operations.
(5) 
Owned or operated by a licensed garbage or solid waste hauler in the course of their business operations.
(6) 
Operated on any Town street officially designated as a detour route where such vehicle could otherwise be lawfully operated upon the street for which such detour is established.
B. 
This section shall become enforceable upon the installation of signs prohibiting the use stated herein.

The driver of a vehicle overtaking another vehicle proceeding in the same direction on Main Street shall not pass such vehicle on the right side or on the shoulder of the pavement.
