Trucks over four tons gross weight are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VIII, except for the pickup and delivery of materials on such streets. Schedule VIII is attached to and made a part of this chapter.[1]

A person who operates a vehicle in the Township without due caution and circumspection or in any other manner so as to endanger or be likely to endanger a person or property or who maintains a vehicle with faulty or unlawful equipment shall be guilty of improper or unreasonable vehicle operation and maintenance.

The locations described in Schedule XVII attached to and made part of this chapter[1] are hereby designated as crosswalks. In addition, any marked crosswalk installed in accordance with an approved site plan shall constitute a designated crosswalk whether or not it is included on Schedule XVII, and all vehicles shall stop and yield the right-of-way to any person utilizing those crosswalks in the same manner as described in N.J.S.A. 39:4-36 and other applicable pedestrian-related statutes.
