There is hereby created and established a Detective Bureau in, and as part of, the Police Department of the Town of West New York, which may be composed of the detectives of said Police Department and such Superior Officer or officers deemed necessary by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety. Said Commissioner shall designate the Superior Officer, who shall be the head of the said Detective Bureau.
