No person shall, within the limits of the Town of West New York, fire or discharge any cannon, rifle, gun or pistol, except in lawful defense of his property, person or family.

Nothing contained in this article shall be construed to extend to any parade of any military, religious, civil, political or social organization or association or to a police officer in the exercise of his duties.
