A County official or employee found by the Ethics Commission
to have violated this chapter shall be referred to the County Human
Resources Office for the determination of appropriate disciplinary
action.
A person who knowingly and willfully violates any provision of §§
8-11 through
8-14 of this chapter is guilty of a civil violation and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000.
A lobbyist who violates any provision of §
8-14 of this chapter may, in addition to any other sanction, be barred from any compensated lobbying activities in Queen Anne's County for a period of up to one year.
A person who fails to timely file a financial disclosure form
or timely file a lobbyist registration or report may be assessed a
late fee as established by the Commission.
