A. 
The Public Works Department, including the Streets and Municipal Infrastructure, Public Buildings, Grounds and Facilities, Mechanical and Automotive Repair Subdepartments, shall be supervised by the Superintendent of Public Works. The City Manager shall supervise the Superintendent of Public Works.

The Superintendent shall supervise the Administrator, Public Works Department, who shall perform such administrative duties as are assigned by the Superintendent of Public Works.
C. 
Vacancies in the offices of Superintendent and Administrator, Public Works Department, shall be filled by the Manager.

The Subdepartment of Streets and Municipal Infrastructure of the Department of Public Works, shall be supervised by the Supervisor of the Department. The Superintendent shall supervise the operations and administration of the Subdepartment of Streets and Municipal Infrastructure.
B. 
Vacancies in the office of Supervisor shall be filled by the Manager.
A. 
The Water and Sewer Utility Operations in the City of Brigantine shall be supervised by the Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Utility/Engineer. The Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Utility/Engineer shall report to and be supervised by the City Manager. The Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Utility/Engineer shall be responsible for performing all of the functions as set forth in the job descriptions for said positions.
