[Adopted 2-14-1990 by Ord. No. 893 as Sec. 2-12 of the 1988 Code]
The office of Municipal Engineer is created for the Borough, in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.
The Engineer shall be appointed annually by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The term of office shall be for a period of one year.
The Engineer shall receive compensation which shall be prescribed by the annual Salary Ordinance,[1] and such other compensation as may be set forth in the annual budget.
