GENERAL REFERENCES

For the purpose of this chapter, the terms used herein are defined as follows:
PERSON
An individual, firm, partnership, corporation or association of persons.
TRAILER OR CAMP VEHICLE
Any vehicle used or intended for conveyance upon the public streets or highways, so designed or constructed as to permit occupancy of the vehicle as a dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons or for other occupancy or use and capable of being transported either under its own power or by attachment to a motor vehicle or by other means of transportation.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or place any trailer or camp vehicle upon or in any street or highway within the Township of Waterford or upon any lands and premises within said township, except in accordance with the provisions of all ordinances of said township, and no trailer or camp vehicle shall, under any circumstances, remain so parked within the township for a period longer than three weeks; provided, however, that such limitation as to time of parking shall not be applicable where repairs or service to or upon any such trailer or camp vehicle are being furnished in any public garage or public automobile repair shop or where any such trailer or camp vehicle shall remain stored and unoccupied on private property.
No trailer or camp vehicle, while such trailer or camp vehicle shall be parked or placed upon or in any public street or highway or upon lands and premises or while repairs or service to or upon such trailer or camp vehicle are being furnished in any public garage or public automobile repair shop or while such trailer or camp vehicle shall remain stored upon private property within said township, shall be used by any person as a dwelling or sleeping place, except that when stored or parked upon private property it may be so used for a period not in excess of five days.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not to exceed 90 days, or any combination thereof, in the discretion of the court or Judge before whom such person shall be so convicted.
