Village of Monroe, NY Article II Clerk and Treasurer

§ 55-6 Terms of office.

The appointed term of office of the Village Clerk and the appointed term of office of the Village Treasurer shall each expire on March 31, 2020, and thereafter each term of office shall be reduced from four to two official years.

§ 55-7 When effective.

This article is subject to permissive referendum pursuant to Village Law and Municipal Home Rule and shall not take effect until 30 days after its adoption.[1]
