The purpose of this article shall be to establish
prohibitions against the parking of commercial tractors, trailers
or cabs on Village streets.

A.Â
No person, partnership, corporation or other entity
shall park, place or leave any commercially registered tractor, trailer,
cab of any type, house trailer, camper, recreational vehicle designed
or used for living or sleeping purposes or commercial vehicle of any
type, with the exception of a pickup truck, upon any street within
the incorporated Village of Wappingers Falls, except between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or in the event of an emergency or circumstances
beyond reasonable control.
B.Â
No person, partnership, corporation or other entity
shall abandon, leave, suffer or permit any vehicle to be left upon
any public roadway or municipal property or parking area in such a
position thereof as shall obstruct or impede vehicular traffic or
constitute a dangerous condition to traffic, public welfare, safety
or convenience.
Violation of this article shall be punishable
by a fine of no more than $250.
