Any person desiring to erect utility poles and/or to run cables or other wire from utility pole to utility pole and to any house, structure or other improvement within the City shall first obtain a license from the City and an easement or license from the owner of the property to be crossed and permission to use the pole or equipment of any other person or property owner involved.

Application for a license to erect utility poles or run cables shall be made at the office of the City Manager at City Hall upon written application and payment of a fee as established in the City Schedule of Fees and Penalties.[1]

Any person aggrieved by a decision of the City Manager shall have the right to appeal to the Commissioners upon giving written notice and payment in an amount established in the City Schedule of Fees and Penalties.[1]
