It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use any street from curb to curb as space for the display of goods or merchandise for sale or rent or to write or make any sign or advertisement on any such pavement.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as established in the City Schedule of Fees and Penalties,[1] and shall pay the costs of prosecution. For the purposes of this article, each day that a violation continues or is committed shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
