All standards set up in this chapter are to be interpreted as minimum standards required. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prohibit or prevent the use of higher standards.
Whenever any provisions set forth in this chapter are found to be in conflict with mandatory state or federal laws, such mandatory state or federal laws shall, of course, govern, and this chapter shall be construed accordingly so that conflict shall not affect the validity of this chapter.
The Township Council may, from time to time, after public notice and hearing amend, supplement or change the regulations and zones herein established. No amendment, supplement, notification or change shall become effective until after a public hearing at which parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard. At least 10 days' notice of the time and place of such hearing shall be published in an official newspaper or a paper of general circulation in the Township.
