No motorboats shall be permitted upon the lake.

No other boat or boats shall be permitted upon the lake until a permit has been obtained from the Borough Clerk for the same, which permit shall expire on December 31 of the year when issued. Application shall be made by the person desiring said permit, which application shall state the owner of said boat, the size and type thereof and the manner and place where said boat shall be moored when not in use. Said permit will be issued upon payment of a fee of $10 per year per boat.
No boat shall be beached upon, landed or otherwise touch the dam on the east side of the lake, nor the embankments extending from said dam on either side thereof, all along the east side of said lake, and also no fishing will be permitted from the same.
No bathing shall be permitted in the waters of said lake between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.
No bathing shall be permitted in the waters of said lake except at such places as shall be designated by the Police Department of the Borough from time to time, which shall be determined according to conditions affecting the safety of the bathers and the proper preservation of the banks of the lake, all of which places shall be plainly marked by proper signs. Such places will be designated in order to promote safety of the bather, and all persons using the same shall assume all the risks that are incidental to bathing and swimming.
No piers, docks or other structures shall be permitted to extend out into the waters of said lake.
No person shall be permitted to walk upon, loiter on, or at any time be or remain upon the top of the dam of the lake, and no person shall meddle with or at any time touch the gate valve, or meddle with, touch or otherwise do anything in connection with the spillway, gates or anything else in connection with the said dam, unless specifically authorized so to do by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Eatontown.
There shall be no dumping of any garbage, refuse, debris or other material in the said lake, and there shall be no barrels or other similar objects for floats used by the bathers on said lake.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,250, a term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days or any combination thereof.
