As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TRAILER
Any self-propelled or non-self-propelled vehicle or portable or semiportable structure used or intended for use as a temporary or permanent dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons, including but not limited to mobile homes, dependent and independent travel trailers, piggyback campers, camp cars, mobile home buses and tents.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any trailer or camp car for any period exceeding two hours on any street in the Township or on any premises within the limits of the Township except for the purposes of repair.
If any person desires to repair or store a trailer or camp car, he shall obtain a permit therefor from the Police Chief. Such permit shall be granted upon request without fee and shall be valid for a period of 10 days from the issuance thereof but may for good cause shown be renewed for a further ten-day period or periods as necessity may require. Any such trailer or camp car undergoing repairs or being stored shall not be used by any person as a dwelling or sleeping place during such period of repair or storage.
This chapter shall not apply where not more than one trailer is occupied as a temporary office by persons employed in a business on the land where the trailer is located, provided that the premises upon which the trailer is located shall have ample sanitary facilities as required or which may hereafter be required by any ordinances, rules or regulations of the Township or of the Board of Health of the Township.
