The provisions of the Freedom of Information Law (Article 6 of the Public Officers Law), as amended, shall be applicable to the Village of Endicott, as shall also the rules and regulations thereunder by the State Committee on Public Access to Records, subject to the rules and regulations now or hereafter adopted by the Village Board which are not more restrictive than those adopted by the State Committee.
The Village Clerk is designated records access officer.
Fees for photocopies of records shall be $0.25 per copy.
Records may be inspected at the Village Office during regular business hours.[1]

By this section it is proposed that the Village of Endicott formally adopt the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule MU-1 for use by municipalities (cities, towns, villages and fire districts).
