Smoking and/or e-cigs are prohibited in all employee rest rooms, elevators, hallways and areas containing office equipment, conference or meeting rooms and Village of Endicott vehicles used by more than one person, Village of Endicott playing fields, Village of Endicott recreational areas and the Visitor Center located at 300 Lincoln Ave; there is to be no smoking and/or e-cigs within 25 feet of any Village of Endicott buildings or facilities.

Conflicts should be brought to the attention of an employee's department head. Employees may also file a formal complaint with the Village Manager.
Employees found smoking outside of designated smoking areas, if any, will be considered in violation of said policy and shall be subject to disciplinary action.
A. 
Copies of these rules will be posted and distributed to all employees and to all prospective employees upon request.
B. 
This policy may be amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of the Village of Endicott. All amendments shall be in conformance with New York State Law, and employees will be notified accordingly.
This chapter shall take effect April 1, 1990.
