The Board of Trustees shall appoint an Examining Board of Plumbers consisting
of three members, two of whom shall be plumbers who have held plumber's licenses
in the Village for the past five years continuously, and one of whom shall
be the Inspector of Plumbing of the Village.
The term of office of each member of the Examining Board of Plumbers
shall be for one year.
Vacancies occurring on the Examining Board of Plumbers shall be filled
by appointment for the unexpired term, except that the Inspector of Plumbing
appointed by the Board of Trustees shall remain a member of the Examining
Board of Plumbers until he ceases to hold his office as such Inspector, at
which time his successor shall act on the Examining Board in his stead.
The Examining Board of Plumbers shall have the power and it shall be
its duty:
A. Meetings: to meet whenever the Board of Trustees shall
request it to meet.
B. Examination of applicants for plumbing license: to examine
all persons desiring or intending to engage in the trade, business or occupation
of plumbing in the Village who apply for examination for a plumber's
license and to determine their fitness and qualifications and to file the
report of said Examining Board of Plumbers with the Board of Trustees of the
result of such examination, together with all written questions and answers
used in said examination, if any.
