[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Oswego 10-29-1991
as L.L. No. 4-1991 (Ch. 23 of the 1980 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The provisions of Article 19-A of the General Municipal Law are hereby
applicable to the establishment or extension of business improvement districts
in the City of Oswego.
This chapter shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary
of State; provided, however, that this chapter is subject to a permissive
referendum, and the City Clerk shall forthwith proceed to notice such fact
and conduct such referendum if required by petition.[1]
