No person shall engage in business as an auctioneer or conduct an auction
in the Village without first obtaining a license therefor.

The fee for any license required by the provisions of this chapter shall
be at the levels fixed from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Rockville Centre.
Sections 90-1 and 90-2 of this chapter notwithstanding, no fee shall be required to be paid for a permit to conduct an auction directed to be held within the Village by the order of any court of competent jurisdiction, or for a permit to a church or charitable, veterans', fraternal or religious organization to conduct an auction, the proceeds of which are to be devoted solely to the purposes of such organization.
