No person, persons, firm, association or corporation shall engage in the business of conducting or operating a service station, public garage, fuel station or repair station for the furnishing, dispensing or selling of gasoline, oil, air or water to motor vehicles within the limits of the Village, without a license. Said license shall be required both in the event such person, persons, firm, association or corporation is engaged solely and exclusively in said business, or said person, persons, firm, association or corporation is engaged in said business as a part of or along with some other business.

A. 
The fee for the license required by the provisions of § 204-1 shall be at the levels fixed from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Rockville Centre.
B. 
All licenses issued hereunder shall expire on the first day of October next succeeding the issuance thereof, and a license may be issued by the Mayor, who is hereby empowered to issue such license, to the person applying therefor, in the name of the Village. Every such license shall be countersigned by the Clerk and have endorsed thereon the receipt of the Treasurer showing payment to him of such license fee.
The license mentioned in the preceding section of this article may be suspended or revoked at any time by the Mayor of the Village or by the Board of Trustees thereof if such licensee shall violate any of the provisions of any other ordinance of the Village or do anything to the detriment of the safety, health, comfort and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Village or visitors thereto.
Every person holding a license under any provision of this article shall exhibit the same upon the demand of any person and shall report to the Chief of Police and the Village Clerk any change of residence or place of business within three days of such change. All such service stations shall be regularly inspected.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed as in anywise amending or limiting the provisions of the ordinances of the Village of Rockville Centre commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance"[1] and the "Building Code,"[2] nor either of them.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this article shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty of not less than $25 for each violation thereof, for the use of said Village. Any violation of this article or any part thereof shall constitute disorderly conduct, and any person violating this article or any part thereof shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or offer for sale at retail, for use in internal-combustion engines in motor vehicles, any gasoline unless such sellers shall post and keep continuously posted on the individual pump or other dispensing device from which gasoline is sold or offered for sale a sign or placard not less than seven inches in height and eight inches in width, nor larger than 12 inches in height and 12 inches in width, and stating clearly and legibly, in numbers at least six inches in height, three inches in width and one inch in stroke, the selling price per gallon, including taxes, of such gasoline offered for sale from such pump or other dispensing device, together with the name, trade name, brand, mark or symbol, and grade or quality classification, if any, of such gasoline. Numerals indicating fractions of a cent shall be 1/2 the size of other numerals.
The amount of governmental tax to be collected in connection with the sale of such gasoline shall be stated on such sign or placard and separately and apart from such selling price or prices.
No sign or placard stating the price or prices of gasoline other than such signs or placards as hereinbefore provided shall be posted or maintained on the premises on which said gasoline is sold or offered for sale.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or offer for sale gasoline at retail in any manner so as to deceive the purchasers as to the price, quality or identity thereof, or sell or to offer for sale from any pump or dispensing device any gasoline other than gasoline manufactured or distributed by the manufacturer or distributor marketing such gasoline under the name, trade name, brand, symbol or mark affixed to or maintained on such pump or other dispensing device, or to substitute, mix or adulterate gasoline sold or offered for sale under a trade name, name, brand, symbol or mark.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this article shall be liable to a fine of not exceeding $100, and any violation thereof shall constitute and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person or persons violating this article or any provision thereof shall be and is hereby declared a disorderly person.
