Pursuant to Section 81, Subdivision 21 of the
Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York the Police Department
of the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre is hereby authorized
to issue regulations permitting the movement of traffic on a red light
at intersections where traffic conditions warrant such regulation.
Wherever such movement of traffic is permitted,
the direction of movement shall be indicated by a green arrow, which
arrow shall flash or light simultaneously with the red light. Such
regulations shall provide that such movement of traffic on a red traffic
light may be made only after the vehicle moving in each case shall
have first come to a full stop, and only when interference with vehicular
and pedestrian traffic is not occasioned thereby.
