A. No person shall make or aid, encourage, countenance or
assist another in making any loud and unreasonable noise.
B. No person shall make or aid, encourage, countenance or
assist another in using any obscene language or in making any obscene display
in any street or public place in the village or in any location where such
language or display would be audible or visible to a person on a street or
public place.
C. Notwithstanding any other provision of this section,
no person shall cause or permit the operation of any gasoline- or diesel-powered
blower equipment within 300 feet of any residential property in the village
between May 1 and September 30 in any year.

A. No person shall load or unload from or upon any truck
or other vehicle in the village, nor move any equipment, furnishings or other
heavy or bulky objects to or from any location in the village between the
hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the succeeding day, except with a permit
from the Mayor.
B. No person shall perform any construction work or activity
in the village which generates any noise audible outside the boundaries of
the property where such work or activity is being conducted on weekdays earlier
than 8:00 a.m. or later than 8:00 p.m., or on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays
earlier than 10:00 a.m. or later than 6:00 p.m., except for such work or activity
required for an emergency, with a permit from the Mayor.
C. An application for a permit required by this section
shall be made to the Mayor, in writing, specifying the location where such
work or activity is proposed to be performed, the date or dates and time or
times where such work or activity is proposed to be performed and such other
information as would permit the Mayor to make a determination as to the nature
and extent of such work or activity and whether the same should be permitted.
Such application shall also be accompanied by any application fee established
by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
D. Where the Mayor determines, upon the information contained
in such application, that such work or activity is reasonably necessary and
cannot reasonably be performed at any other time at which it would create
a lesser disturbance and would reasonably conform to the peace and quiet of
the village and the inhabitants therein, the Mayor may issue such permit.
No owner, lessee, tenant or other person in possession of or occupying
any premises within the village, or the manager or other head of any business,
trade or other occupation conducted therein, shall suffer, tolerate, permit
or allow any person or persons, whether in his or her employ or otherwise,
to do or perform any act or acts in violation of the foregoing sections of
this chapter.

Any person, firm or corporation committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in the general penalty provisions contained in Chapter
1, General Provisions, Article
II, of this Code.
